Holy Corony!
This is a bonus episode-slash-public health info bulletin! We talk about what Coronaviruses are, what *this* particular [COVID-19/SARS-CoV-2/novel coronavirus pneumonia/2019-nCoV acute respiratory disease] virus is all about, why it’s a problem for everyone on the planet (i.e. a pandemic), and how to deal with it. It’s worth mentioning that toilet paper will not save you even though you couldn’t get any for love or money.
At the time of posting (March 13, 2020), all schools are closed until April 3, and public gatherings of 250+ people are banned in San Diego, CA. Grocery stores are a Hobbesian nightmare and have been raided for anything shelf-stable. That includes toilet paper, which we reiterate, will not save you. Now go wash your hands.
